Except the communication problem in A&E department, there are some other problems exist.
1. 1/4 suiciders have been in touch with mental health services in the year prior to death.
2. 16 per cent of suicides in England and Wales wer psychiatric in-patients at the time of their death and 23 per cent died within three months of discharge from in-patient care (Dpartment of Health 2001).
3. Patient suicide has a profound effect on staff as individuals and the team as a whole. Most of time suicide is so difficult for staff to bear because of several reasons on staff: feeling of failure, fear of blame as well as feelings of guilt and shame.
4. Problems happened in BME (Black and Minority Ethic) Groups
The impact of culture difference is possibly not considered when clinician is helping a suical BME, and may be this will influence the intervention. So by its nature much of 'culture' is unspoken. It is important for practitioners to explore with service users and their families the meaning of their actions. This is particularly important an no single practitioner will know about every culture they are likely to come acrooss in their work.
5. Problems of young people: relationships, school problems and peer relationships, family problems, anger management, depression and self-harm and the future.
Some of the problems has been figured out by the government and correspondingly the government has set some solutions to solve the problems, but still there some problems exist in the current solutions, so it is valuable to explore.

Other Examples of Design Tackling Social / Health Issue
Got some examples of amazing advertising Campaign:

MIRA and the Refugee and Immigrant Safety and Empowerment Program of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health have launched a public awareness campaign about domestic violence, to inform immigrant communities across the Commonwealth.

This very compelling ambient campaign for the National Council Against Smoking was created by Lowe Bull, Johannesburg and won a 2007 Cannes Lion.

Guerrilla campaign tells smokers to take it outside
To increase awareness of second-hand smoke and to encourage smokers not to smoke indoors, Brussels ad agency LG&F created flyers that, when rolled up, looked like cigarettes.
The copy on the flyers, which strikes the kind of balance between scary information and restraint that smokers might actually respond to, read:
"By taking tour cigarette out the door, you'll save lives. Maybe not your own (although fresh air has never harmed anyone) but the life of your partner. Or your children's.
Every year, 2,000 people die of second-hand smoke in Belgium alone. Many of them have not yet reached adulthood. It's sad, but true, the majority of passive smoking victims are children. Pneumonia, cancer or other respiratory illnesses hit the weaker ones first. Think about it when you're in doubt of taking your smoke outside. The lungs of your loved ones deserve better."

The Soviet government produced quite a lot of propaganda posters in its day. Some of the more interesting, and still relevant, posters were against alcohol abuse. Yuri Matrosovich has put together a small “Museum of Anti-Alcohol Posters” featuring some great examples of anti-alcohol propaganda.

Changing Subject---Suicide
By searching the recent publications on website of The Scottish Government, it's not difficult to identify the main social issues in Scotland. The main problems exists in the topics of Agriculture (such as farming and animal health and welfare); Health, Well-being and Care (such as sexual health); People, Communities and Living (such as suicide, homelessness and sheltered housing) and etc.
I emphasised the suicide topic later because:
a. this is one of the most vital social problems need to be tackled in Scotland even in the world;
b. this is a interesting and challenging topic
c. this topic is accessible to approach because there are enough resources and statistics for me to explore
d. I got an email about a training course of suicide aids from my university, and this email just like a stimulater which enhanced me to make a decision on doing 'suicide' topic at once.

Although not like the food one, I haven't got any ideas on how to do this subject but I booked the training course at once, as circled in red line above, I'm gonna to take the training course on Wednesday 23 01, and I'm I can get great harvest from this training course.
